retrospective 2012:

finance

July 2nd - 4th in Steyr 2012, Austria. ( see preliminary schedule here)

DSCF1451

Dear conference presenters:

Important:

An accepted abstract means that you can present your work at the conference and your full paper can be published in the 2012 Finance Perspectives Conference Proceedings (ACRN Cambridge Publishing) with ISBN and ISSN number is indexed and searchable. It will be published in September 2012.

Some of these papers are then additionally selected at the conference and, after talking to the authors, may enter another blind review round for publication in the partnering journals!
(in some cases this has already happened).

There is no obligation to publish in either, you can choose also just to present your research! Please let us know so we still put you up on the schedule!

Presentation:

The format of the presentation is: 10 to 15 minutes (max.) presentation, followed by 5-10min directly related Q&A.

After each sessions presentations (typical 3-4), all presenters of a session will form a fictive panel for another 10min panel discussion on the four paper-presentations.
This allows for an interconnection between the topics of the papers, as well as for a more in-depth discussion.

As we know from our own experience, there are many last minute changes to the presentation, so please bring the presentation with you on USB Stick!

Notebooks with Windows and Powerpoint 2010 will be provided, so there is no need to bring your own. Please bear in mind that the internet connection at such larger conferences often does not allow Prezi or video Internet stream presentations. We recommend to use more conventional tools that do not need Internet access!

Wireless LAN Access during the conference:

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7

Unfortunately, no IT support is available at the conference time.
