Steyr is one of the oldest cities in Austria. It has a unique location at the crossing of the rivers Steyr and Enns.
Cultural and historically rich, it also offers a lot for outdoor activities such as hiking in the beautiful mountainous Nationalparks nearby.
Steyr is located near Linz, almost in the middle between Vienna and Salzburg, both are only within 1 1/2 hour driving distance.
For travelling to Steyr, there would be several options. One would be fly to Frankfurt, then to Linz and from there it is an easy drive of 30 min to Steyr (busses, taxi), alternatives are the airport in Vienna and then train, or London and then Linz (daily Ryanair flight from London Stansted to Linz).
If you arrive at Vienna aiport, use the airport bus to the Vienna railway station called WESTBAHNHOF,
